What's New
Summer 2000

The What's New section is aimed at keeping you up-to-date with library developments.


  1. Opening Hours

    Summer opening hours will come into operation after Friday 30th June.

    Saturday 1st July10.00-13.00
    Sunday 2nd JulyCLOSED
    Monday 3rd July09.30-19.00
    Tues 4th - Thurs 6th July09.00-19.00
    Friday 7th July09.00-17.00

    These opening hours will be in force until Monday 18th September 2000.

    N.B. We will be closed for borrowing 12th - 29th August. Please see the notice below for details

  2. Access to Library Services

    Please note that as a result of the investment in a new automated system, we will be closed for borrowing from Saturday 12th August to Monday 28th August inclusive.

    If you require access to the library for reference material, this service is available 9.00-5.30 Monday - Thursday, 9.00-5.00 Friday. You will need to arrange this in advance by calling 01227 782354 or 782504 or 782573. Or you can e-mail us on lib3@cant.ac.uk

    You should aim to borrow any material you might need before Friday 11th August. Inter-library loan requests and book reservations should be placed by 30th June 2000.

    Any items on loan to you before this time will not be due back until we are open for borrowing again, on Tuesday 29th August.

  3. SCONUL Vacation Access Access to some other HE libraries is available via the SCONUL Vacation Access Scheme
